Meet Bryson Thomas

As a senior International Trade & Finance student at Louisiana State University, I bring a well-rounded perspective to business strategy, shaped by my academic research, legal internships and my hands-on entrepreneurial experience. My roles in economic impact analysis, research and business management have deepened my understanding of market influences, interpretive financial/economic analysis, and dynamic strategic planning amongst others.Having successfully built and sold a business while in high school and grown others in college, paired with my formal training in trade and finance I have gained interpretative skills to apply finances to real world business strategy. Research

The following reports were produced in my role as an Undergraduate Researcher at the LSU Center for Economics, Business and Policy Research. To develop these reports, I assisted in applying Bayesian modeling and empirical economic analysis to inform policymakers and stakeholders across Louisiana. Using large datasets (BEA, BLS, Census) and software such as Stata and Excel, I assisted in generating more than 20 recurring economic indicators, including employment, wage growth, GDP by industry, and CPI.In the production of the following economic impact studies that I contributed to—such as the 2025 Super Bowl ($1B+ projected activity)—we applied input–output modeling (IMPLAN, RIMS II) and incorporating survey data to estimate tax revenue, industry multipliers, and sector growth. In addition, we conducted applied research on labor markets, industry trends, public finance, and demographics using input–output models and regional forecasting methods.

• Worked closely with the offices lead special prosecutor to screen inbound criminal cases and summarized investigation reports.
• Drafted memorandums as pre-trial preparation.
• Researched case law and communicated findings to support trial strategy formation.

Owner/Operator June 2022 – May 2024

• Proposed services in-person and over-the-phone to Business/Home-Owners and Managers. Closed; Chick-fil-A’s, Local Banks, Food Distribution Centers, Public School Systems, 100+ Residential Clients and managed service agreements.
• Coordinated service agreement fulfillment around an all college-student employed staff schedule with 0% churn for 18 months. Created and Managed cash flow and income statements, managed payroll and company financial
assets.
• Facilitated the holistic development of this small service-based business from start to 5 figures of monthly revenue.
• Performed this business accounting, financial analysis, inventory procurement, employee management, marketing, asset maintenance and client relationship management services.
